Wanderlust

Together with the nature park "Voges du Nord" the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest, which is recognized by UNESCO, covers about 3000 square kilometers. Flora and fauna are unique in Central Europe and inspire every nature lover. Many historic castles, unique treetop and barefoot paths, striking sandstone cliffs and 2500 km of well signposted hiking trails make the Palatinate Forest a hiker's paradise and a unique gem of Europe.
